My Role:
Creative Direction, Visual Identity, Copywriting, Motion
Intertwine was the graduate exhibition for the RCA's Digital Direction MA programme, bringing together over 70 artists and designers exploring new forms of storytelling through VR, AR, film, installation, and interactive media. The concept was rooted in the idea of a living ecosystem, a space where digital and physical realities intersect, and where very different creative voices could coexist without overwhelming each other.
As creative lead on the visual identity, I developed a flexible design system that could hold a wide range of voices and formats across print, digital, and spatial touchpoints. That meant producing wayfinding materials, spatial layouts, motion and projection assets, printed pamphlets, and a keepsake publication, all while managing the design and copywriting teams working alongside me.

The Story Behind This Project
The challenge with Intertwine wasn't making something that looked good. It was making something that could hold 70 completely different creative voices without flattening any of them. Every artist deserved their own space within a system that still felt cohesive and considered as a whole. Clarity without uniformity was the brief I set myself.
"Intertwine, a living ecosystem, represents our desire to forge connections and reimagine the digital space, intersecting storytelling, artistic creation, and immersive technology."
Intertwine Press Release
The exhibition welcomed several thousand visitors across its run, with work spanning VR, AR, sound installation, film, and digital art. Credited across both graphics and text in the official press release, the visual identity held together a genuinely diverse show without losing the individuality of the artists within it. Sometimes the best design is the one that makes room for everyone else.
